About Us

Who We Are

A community-based support initiative dedicated to helping parents and guardians understand and prepare for birth certificate applications.

Our Role

Community Birth Certificate Assistance Service is a community-based support initiative dedicated to helping parents and guardians understand and prepare for birth certificate applications.

Our role is to provide information, guidance, document-checking assistance, and community outreach — while encouraging applicants to complete their applications through the relevant government authorities. We sit alongside families during the preparation stage; the official registration and issuance of a birth certificate is, and remains, the responsibility of government civil registration offices.

Who we work with

  • Parents and guardians applying for a child's first birth certificate
  • Families pursuing late registration
  • Applicants seeking correction of an existing certificate
  • Schools and community groups during outreach programs
  • Vulnerable households needing extra procedural support
Our Core Values

The principles behind every interaction

Seven commitments that shape how we work with every family and community we serve.

I

Integrity

We give honest, accurate guidance — never promises we cannot keep.

II

Transparency

We are clear about what we do, what we do not do, and who issues your certificate.

III

Professionalism

Every applicant is treated with care, consistency, and attention to detail.

IV

Respect

We listen first, and treat every family's circumstances with dignity.

V

Community Service

We exist to serve communities, especially those furthest from government offices.

VI

Accountability

We take responsibility for the guidance we give and the outreach we run.

VII

Excellence

We hold our own work to a high standard, in every county we serve.
