Community Birth Certificate Assistance Service is a community-based support initiative dedicated to helping parents and guardians understand and prepare for birth certificate applications.
Our role is to provide information, guidance, document-checking assistance, and community outreach — while encouraging applicants to complete their applications through the relevant government authorities. We sit alongside families during the preparation stage; the official registration and issuance of a birth certificate is, and remains, the responsibility of government civil registration offices.

Community Birth Certificate Assistance Service is an independent assistance and information service. We do not issue birth certificates or act on behalf of the Government of Kenya. Official birth registration and certificate issuance are carried out only by the relevant government authorities.
